The new layout was immediately obvious, with the two dressage arenas to the right as one drove across the point-to-point track while the triangle, where Mairead Ryan judged the horses in hand for the day, was just beyond them.

The jumping arena was once again at the Wishing Well end of the field, with the water coming into play twice in both classes. The cross-country fences caused relatively few problems but the show jumps had their effect on the results.
