CHANGES were made not only to the cross-country tracks at Killossery Lodge last Saturday but also to the show jumping phase with the one-star classes taking place on sand, along with the EI90s, while competitors in the EI100 sections were diverted to the grass ring.

To prevent congestion at the entrance to the indoor arena, where there was a limit of seven horses warming up at a time, those riding in the EI90 classes had to jump in numerical order. This procedure worked so smoothly, taking pressure off the steward as well, that it will be repeated in the future.
