THE Group 1-winning sprinter Sands Of Mali is be offered for sale at Tattersalls in Newmarket next Monday.

The four-year-old colt has been added as a wildcard to the Tattersalls December Mares Sale that starts on Monday and runs until Thursday. The son of Panis is catalogued as Lot 1621A and will be offered on Monday from Richard Fahey’s Musley Bank Stables.

Sands Of Mali has won on five occasions, including last year’s Group 1 British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot.

He also won the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes as a two-year-old and the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes as a three-year-old. This year he raced for a partnership involving Phoenix Thoroughbreds, the ownership group which has been linked to a money-laundering court case in the USA. Next week's sale is to dissolve that partnership.

>The listed-placed Exceed Loose (Lot 1793A)

> Joseph O’Brien’s recent highly-rated Group 3 winning filly Waitingfortheday (Lot 1793D)
