The leading British jump jockey looks set to miss some big races in the coming weeks

JUMP jockey Sam Twiston-Davies is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks following a fall at Sandown on Sunday which has left him with a broken elbow.

Twiston-Davies rides for leading trainer Paul Nicholls, who confirmed the bad news at Kempton on Monday. The 25-year-old has ridden 71 winners so far this season and is third in the jump jockeys' table.
