A SALES year that brought with it innumerable challenges came to a close with Monday’s Goffs November Breeding Stock Sale which returned steady and consistent trade that enabled a trying 12 months to end on a somewhat positive note.

As has been the case with many other auctions this sale was unable to match the returns from 2019 but this was a day from which positives could be taken. Most important and striking of all was the level of trade for breeding stock at all levels of the market which in turn returned a clearance rate of 87%.
