THE catalogue for the Tattersalls Ireland February Sale contains a full-sister to Grade 1 winner Sporting John and a half-brother to The New One.

Taking place on Tuesday, February 1st, the sale is the first thoroughbred auction of the year in Ireland. There are 313 horses entered and all bar 40 of them are newly turned yearlings.

The sale starts with 25 older horses, mainly NH-bred two-year-olds, and the session ends with 17 jump-bred fillies and mares, including hurdle-race winners Dolly’s Destination and Two Shoe Tom.

Other eyecatching entries in the yearling section include the Yeats half-brother to Emily Moon, and siblings to Minella Drama, Chris’s Dream, Party Central, Duke Of Navan and Decimation.
