SALES: Quality point-to-pointers for sale at Punchestown
on 26 April 2019
The catalogue for next Thursday's Goffs sale will be published on Monday afternoon

GOFFS will publish the online catalogue for the next Thursday’s Punchestown Sale on Monday afternoon.

The sale will take place in the winner’s enclosure after the last race on Thursday May 2nd. Horses will be available to inspect at Goffs on Thursday morning and at Punchestown that afternoon.

Grade 1 winner Honeysuckle, Welsh Grand National hero Elegant Escape and Scottish Grand National victor Takingrisks are among this season’s high-profile winners to have emerged from the Punchestown Sale.

The 10 horses already catalogued are:

EMTARA (4yo f. by Kayf Tara): Well related daughter of Kayf Tara who repelled all challengers on her debut to win a very competitive 12-runner maiden on April 17th at Inch.

FIRE AWAY (6yo g. by Getaway): Winner of a 14-runner bumper on March 17th at Wexford, having previously finished runner-up in a 13-runner Punchestown bumper in February.

JANUARY JETS (5yo g. by Presenting): Winner at Ballysteen on his second start, having fallen on his debut.

KID COMMANDO (5yo g. by Robin Des Champs): Impressive winner of a seven-runner maiden on Easter Sunday at Quakerstown.

PURE BLISS (4yo f. by Mount Nelson): Debut winner on April seventh at Rathcannon, staying on from the rear in a competitive maiden.

SELLARBRIDGE (4yo g. by Well Chosen): Stayed on impressively in his only start to date to win a four-year-old bumper at Punchestown.

SOUTHERN GIRL (5yo m. by Getaway): Won a 12-runner maiden on her second start at Quakerstown by a wide margin.

THE BIG BREAKAWAY (4yo g. by Getaway): An Easter Sunday winner at Quakerstown, this imposing son of Getaway looks one of the four-year-old stars of the season.

UNBREAKABLE BOND (4yo g. by Shirocco): A really encouraging introduction when runner-up on his debut at Curraghmore, leading until close home and with a significant distance back to the third.

WRITTENINTHESAND (5yo g. by Milan): Progressed from being placed on his debut to winning on Easter Sunday at Curraghmore.
