THE Goffs Sportsman’s Sale will be a two-day affair, with over 400 yearlings being offered for sale at Kildare Paddocks next Thursday (September 30th) and Friday (October 1st).

All lots are eligible for the six-furlong €100,000 Goffs Sportsman’s Challenge at Naas next September.

Last year’s Sportsman’s Sale was staged in Doncaster and the undoubted star graduate to-date has been Atomic Force. Bought for just £22,000, the son of Cotai Glory raced in the colours of Hambleton Racing when winning his maiden and a Group 3 race in France, before being sold to a Hong Kong-based owner prior to winning the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin in July. A gelding, he will continue his racing career in Hong Kong.
