A LOW-KEY renewal of the Osarus November two-day sale in France saw a top-price of just €18,000 achieved for a yearling on the first day of trade.

That opening session was restricted to yearlings but a clearance rate of just 53% and a smaller number of lots offered saw the turnover for that category fall by 58% from a year ago. The average and median both slumped, by 37% and 40% respectively.
