THE Breeze-Up Sale at Ascot is being conducted for the fourth time by Tattersalls Ireland, who took it over from Brightwells. The sale has proved to be a great success in recent years as it is the first breeze-up of the year and has produced horses such as The Wow Signal, who cost £50,000 and won the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville and the Group 2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, plus Group 1 star Sands Of Mali and also First Selection, winner of the Group 3 Solario Stakes. There have already been many winners from last year’s sale.

Tattersalls Ireland has already sent out the catalogue of 91 lots for this year’s Ascot Breeze-Up Sale, to be held on Wednesday, April 3rd. The auction takes place in the sales arena in the racing stables, across the road from Ascot Racecourse, and will start at noon.
