THE opening Dennison Commercials Ltd four-year-old maiden attracted the largest field of the day with 10 participants facing the starter and victory in this competitive event went the way of the Donnchadh Doyle-trained Lone Rocket (9/4 – 4/1). A faller on his debut at Loughanmore in May, the Rob James-partnered gelding was prominent for much of the contest, having jumped and travelled well, and the son of Milan went clear before the last to account for the Derek O’Connor-partnered favourite Braeside by four lengths in likeable fashion.
