JESSICA Harrington continued to run riot in the two-year-old division as her 16/1 newcomer Justina upstaged the odds-on Potala Palace in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden. This was a remarkable 10th individual juvenile winner for the trainer this term and all of them have been fillies. Meanwhile, a double on the night moved the trainer on to the 34-winner mark for the season. This means that she is already enjoying her third best flat campaign to date, and with half the season still to come the trainer will surely surpass the career best tally of 43 victories which she posted in 2017 and 2018.

Justina, who is owned by Sir Peter Vela and Yvonne Nicoll and is the first produce of a winning juvenile, looked as though she would be all the better for this experience yet she still produced a smart effort when switched out with her effort over a furlong from home. The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor got home by half a length from Potala Palace who had previously filled the runner-up spot in a Leopardstown maiden.
