I FEEL we’ve covered this ground before, but here we go again anyway. Things go wrong when you don’t get the basics right, as has been highlighted several times again this week, and before I launch into the latest failings in procedure at British tracks, I must give a nod to Sligo, who said “hold my beer” by running the first race on Tuesday’s card a full four minutes early.
