SWEDISH rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson has lost his top owners and sponsors, Stutteri Ask A/S.

In a statement released today by the two parties, Stall Bengtsson & Kristoffersen and Stutteri Ask, the world number 14 said he was grateful for the support his sponsors have given him during their four year partnership, which began in April 2013. The decision to part ways was made on the back of the parties having different plans and future strategies.

"We are very grateful to Stutteri Ask, that has given us their support for nearly four years. We had a great partnership and our cooperation has made it possible for Rolf to compete at top level, and to achieve some fantastic results over the last years. We wish Stutteri Ask all the best for the future,” said Bo Kristoffersen.

Søren Møller Rohde, Chief rider of Stutteri Ask A/S, said: "The sponsorship of Rolf-Göran Bengtsson has made Stutteri Ask known worldwide. It has been an amazing time, with outstanding results produced by Rolf and the horses. Among others, Casall Ask’s victory in LGCT and Unita Ask’s participation at the Olympic Games in Rio have been absolutely fantastic experiences. We wish Rolf and all of Stall Bengtsson & Kristoffersen all the best for the future."

Unita Ask will return to Stutteri Ask in the near future together with Boston Ask. Casall Ask, who will be retired from the sport at the GCT in Hamburg this coming May, and Clarimo Ask are owned by the Holsteiner Verband and will remain with Bengtsson.
