There was a misty start to the morning but, as so often happens at this north Co Dublin venue, the weather picked up as the day wore on and the show ended in sunshine as the Victoria Burns-partnered Rillaton Jack In A Box was being crowned supreme champion.

Paula McCarthy judged all the flat classes and found her champion, and reserve, in the first ridden class where Madeleine Burns’s Basford Court Jester gelding stood ahead of the O’Connor family’s Amesbury Honeypot.
