HUGE crowds, a glut of Irish-bred winners and an exciting display by Irish Olympic contenders all contributed to the outstanding success of the 11th international fixture at Tattersalls last weekend. It was undoubtedly a vintage year for the Co Meath showcase, as unbroken sunshine capped the entire five days. The ever popular event attracted riders from nine individual countries, while a record 31,000 spectators streamed through the gates. A further 18,000 online viewers from 127 countries shared the Irish Horse Gateway live streaming, which aired eight classes of top-quality competition.
