OWNERS are a vital cog in the wheel in the racing industry. Without the owners supporting our industry it would simply not survive. We are really looking forward to welcoming owners back to Naas from Wednesday, July 22nd. In the meantime, here are some of the initiatives we have undertaken on behalf of absent owners in recent week.

Winning owners

We teamed up with the Racing Post who created a Owners Engagement Story, which includes a selection of images of their winning horse, the Racing Post analysis, trainer quotes and a link to the Racing TV replay.

After the race we send the video to the winning connections for them to share with syndicate members, friends and family. We have received some positive feedback in relation to this. We feel it is just another small way for them to feel part of the experience.

Trophy presentations

At the moment there are no podium presentations, so we reach out to the owners after the raceday and post them a letter of congratulations and send on their prize.

New sponsors

We are delighted to have a number of new and existing sponsors support us during these challenging times. These include Coolmore Stud, who are one of our long-standing partners. They are sponsoring the Lacken Stakes for the first time, as well as the Coolmore Stud Irish EBF Fillies Sprint Stakes.

Coolmore Stud is an industry leader in their field, as well as being Ireland’s leading owners themselves. Their commitment to the industry as a whole is unparalleled and we feel privileged to be working with them.

Win a prize

We are delighted to welcome Syndicates.racing on board to sponsor the #ShareInTheFun at Syndicates.racing Blackwater Handicap today (Saturday). Their support is very much appreciated, now more than ever.

Syndicates.racing sources inexpensive horses to divide into 100 ownership units to make fun and affordable horse racing syndicates for the next generation of owners.

Our sponsors are giving away a share in Syndicates.racing. To be in a chance to win, we want you to give us suggestions on how you feel Naas and Irish racing can improve the ownership experience.

You can do this by either replying to our pinned Twitter post or by emailing your suggestions to goracing@naasracecourse.com. Entries close at noon on Monday, July 6th.
