JUST one month after breaking his collarbone at Wolverhampton, Rossa Ryan made his return to the saddle with a winner at Newmarket yesterday evening and will travel to the Curragh this morning for two high-profile rides for his retained owners, Amo Racing.

It’s a big deal for the Corofin, Galway native who was a crack pony racing rider here before he made the move over to Richard Hannon’s yard. He has since ridden over 300 winners in Britain and he returns to Ireland now to ride second favourite Mojo Star in the Irish Derby (3:45) and the supplemented Go Bears Go in the Railway Stakes (3:05).
