on 08 January 2021
Lynn Hillyer, Paddy Wall, Alan Dunlop, Ryan Carpenter, Jerry O'Sullivan and Leo Powell are guest speakers at Tuesday's event

EQUINE veterinary surgeons, including those aspiring to perform racecourse or point-to-point duty in the future, are invited to take part in the Association of Irish Racecourse Veterinary Surgeons’ annual seminar and wetlab. It will be held online on Tuesday, January 12th with a 5.30pm start.

The AIRCVS chairman, Ned O’Flynn, has gathered together an array of leading practitioners who will be making presentations on the evening. Membership of the AIRCVS for 2021 costs just €50 and includes free access to the webinar.

Leo Powell, editor of The Irish Field, is the guest speaker on the night, and he is followed by Lynn Hillyer who will provide an IHRB update. Joining the webinar from Hong Kong will be Alan Dunlop, while Professor Paddy Wall will speak on the subject of mental health. The final two speakers on the night are Santa Anita veterinary surgeon Ryan Carpenter, and Irishman Jerry O’Sullivan.
