The show, which included 23 classes of breeding stock, young stock, ridden hunter and show jumping for pure and part-bred Irish Draught horses, is a unique event organised by a small group of dedicated volunteers.

The strong turnout ensured a highly competitive day, with the international twist a tribute to Westmeath County Council’s support, after its international tourism grant attracted international guests from Ontario, New York, California, Holland, Isle of Man, Wales, England and Scotland to the event.
