THE admirable Peregrine Run continued his whirlwind start to the season as he made it three wins on the spin under Kevin Sexton in the Ladbrokes-sponsored conditions chase over two miles, five furlongs.

After winning a Killarney Grade 3 by a nose and the Mayo National by a head, the Peter Fahey stalwart was altogether more emphatic as he handed out an eight-length beating to Jett to overcome any fears that the ground may have eased too much for him. Jett was 8lbs better off with the winner for that narrow Killarney defeat, but from before the turn in it was clear that Peregrine Run (9/10) had his measure and the Vincent Byrne-owned gelding asserted after two out to win easily.
