Un De Sceaux heads a field of eight declared as the Ryanair Chase hero drops back down to two miles for the BoyleSports Champion Chase at Punchestown on Tuesday.

The nine-year-old took his winning run to three with a superb round of jumping to claim the two-mile-five-furlong title at Cheltenham last month

Un De Sceaux's two previous wins during the winter came over two miles in the Tingle Creek and Clarence House Chase.

His trainer Willie Mullins also runs Ballycasey, whose fine campaign continued when he lifted the Grade Two Normans Grove Chase at Fairyhouse earlier this month.

Gordon Elliott, Mullins' rival in the race to be champion Irish jumps trainer, is represented by both Realt Mor and The Game Changer.

Completing the home team is the Jessica Harrington-trained Rock The World, who steps up in grade after winning the Grand Annual Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

The British challenge is led by Colin Tizzard's Fox Norton, who followed up his excellent second place behind Special Tiara in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham when winning the Melling Chase at Aintree.

The Tom George-trained God's Own attempts to retain his crown and will be accompanied by stablemate Sir Valentino, who maintained his improvement when third in the Champion Chase.

CHAMPION NOVICE

Disko, who lowered the colours of last week's Irish Grand National hero Our Duke at Leopardstown in February, tops seven runners in the Growise Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown on Tuesday .

Third to Yorkhill in the JLT Novice Chase at Cheltenham on his only subsequent start, the six-year-old is one of two entries from the Noel Meade stable along with A Genie In Abottle.

Facing the Meade duo are A Toi Phil, Acapella Bourgeois, Alpha Des Obeaux. Anibale Fly and Velocity Boy.

Labaik will try to back up his surprise success in Cheltenham's Supreme Novices' Hurdle when he lines up for the Herald Champion Novice Hurdle.

Gordon Elliott's grey had a reputation for refusing to start, but was on his best behaviour as he floored Melon by two and a quarter lengths.

Melon renews rivalry and is joined by two others from the Willie Mullins stable in Bunk Off Early and Cilaos Emery in a seven-strong field.

Pingshou, who was well-beaten in the Supreme, bounced back in style to win at Aintree. Joining the Colin Tizzard horse from the UK is Peter The Mayo from the Neil Mulholland stable.

Forge Meadow, from the Jessica Harrington yard, makes up the list.
