WILLIE Mullins ended the week at Punchestown with a record 15 winners, 10 of them at Grade 1 level.

During the final afternoon of the season, a day when 20mm of rain fell, Mullins collected the champion trainer trophy for the eighth time. His son Patrick is champion amateur, also for the eighth time, while the yard’s number one rider Ruby Walsh was confirmed as champion jockey for a 10th time, equalling Frank Berry’s record.
