TURNING heads on beautiful Ballybunion Beach in Co Kerry last weekend was Shannon O’Mahony who jumped at the chance to ride side saddle in a fabulous full length gown on the stunning black friesan stallion Bagheera. Photographer Tony Quinlivan did the photo shoot for the occasion which showed off the versatility of the horse under saddle.

It was the culmination of a rounded education for driving horse Bagheera who spent time with Shannon and Jeremiah O’Connor at their new facility of Derra Farm Equestrian in Asdee. There he got a good education and was put through his paces in flatwork, jumping and side saddle.
