LIMERICK man and freelance sports reporter with the Limerick Leader newspaper, Tom Clancy can proudly claim he ran a marathon on Sunday, April 26th. This challenge was in aid of the very worthy charity that is Limerick Animal Welfare and frontline staff of the HSE.

The 26-year-old took on his first marathon for the brilliant causes and the 42km challenge took him 4.28 hours in total. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, Clancy chose to run the marathon in a figure of eight around his parish of Clarina, Co Limerick.
