Last Saturday, it was Kilkenny-born veterinary surgeon Mick Costello who grasped this opportunity while on duty at the third Lightsource one-day event of the season. Although working at Tullyraine Equine Clinic for over a year, Costello wasn’t at the event in a veterinary capacity but rather as “head groom and boyfriend” of fellow veterinary surgeon Rosie Alcorn.
