THERE was a big gathering for the retirement last week of huntsman of the North Tipperary Foxhounds, Denis Gilmartin MFH, after years of dedicated service and good sport to the hunt club.

Huntsmen, past and present from all over the region, gathered to wish Denis well and a happy retirement. Among them were Liam McAlinden, Jeremy Cairns, Joe Townsend, Peter Cahill, Eoghan McCabe, Denis O’Sullivan and Alan Reilly.

Well done Denis on all your great work for the hunting community.
