LAST Friday evening marked the retirement of local auctioneer Jim Fenlon, a stalwart of Goresbridge for nearly 45 years. As he dropped the gavel for the final time, Jim was watched proudly by his sons Pat and James, together with grandchildren, Eoin, Orla, Eimear, Darragh, Sarah and Padraig.
“Jim has been a loyal and valued part of the team here at Goresbridge since the early days,” said Goresbridge auctioneer Martin Donohoe. “He’s been with us since before my father died in 1978, and has always been someone we have relied on.”
Many congratulations on your retirement Jim!
