ONE of the country’s most successful and varied agriculture shows is ready to celebrate 42 years next Sunday, June 23rd, when the 40 acres of land in Corrandulla village in Co Galway will come alive with people.

One of the few country shows which still boosts all the traditions, competitions vary from Grand Prix show jumping to Connemara ponies, cattle, poultry, arts and crafts, bonny baby and home produce. In recent years, the food village, trade fair and country market, alongside machinery displays and fun fair amusements, has seen the show attract over 10,000 visitors.
