DUNBYRNE Equestrian, a family-owned and run livery yard based in Kilmeague, Co. Kildare, encompasses a livery yard and an AIRE (Association of Irish Riding Establishments) riding school.

The yard recently formed a team training club onsite for their junior riders in order to develop their skills and coach them in dressage and it is already proving a hit with riders. A three-week coaching programme, delivered by Ross O’Hare (BHSI/BHS assessor) and Lorna Keogh (BHS/HSI coach) trained seven young riders in how to ride their first ever dressage test. From learning the arena dimensions to practicing test movements, the riders were deemed proficient by Ross at the end of their coaching to attend their first competition.
