HORSE Sport Ireland has announced the Pony Nations Cup squad that will compete in Fontainebleau, France, on Saturday, April 14th.

The Fontainebleau squad in alphabetical order is as follows:

Francis Derwin and Cul Ban Mistress (CP)

Max Foley and Pumkins Pondi (CP)

Katie Power and Knockroe Little Mike (ISH)

Lucy Shanahan and Caliber DE

Rhys Williams and Shadow’s Dancer (CP)

Speaking about the team, show jumping pony team manager, Gary Marshall, said: “This is a team that gained their positions through the Plusvital/Holmestead Pony Spring Tour 2018, it is a young team. For four of the five riders it will be their first time on a CSIOP team, it will be a great experience for them for the future and I am really looking forward to seeing how they perform.”

This year, in honour of Ireland’s success in previous years, Ireland will be the guest of honour at the Bonneau International Pony Show, Fontainebleau, which takes place from April 12th through to April 15th.
