BALLINDENISK hosted its annual polo tournament last weekend, with adaptations to facilitate play in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. Three levels of tournament were held, with the high goal tournament, the Ballindenisk Cup, being shared between the Tyrone and 3rd Wheeling teams.

With all players in facemasks and two-metres distancing being attentively followed, chukkas began on a capricious and sometimes thundery summer afternoon in Cork. Despite this, the pitch played beautifully and held well in the wet.
