An excruciating time fault on his second round put Cameron Hanley and the gelding Living The Dream out of the jump-off in the sixth leg of the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix at Monaco last Saturday night.

However the Mayo man was delighted with his third place podium finish in the prestigious event and thrilled with the two clear jumping rounds produced by the nine-year-old Living The Dream, who is jointed owned by the rider and his strong supporters Yves Bouvier and Eleonore Paschoud. Hanley (41) picked up €45,000 for his third place, which marked a serious return to form for the 41-year-old who was sidelined by a knee injury for almost two years.
