BLISSFULLY unaware of the current crisis, the lookalikes, Longhouse Music (Gamut) and Some Are Lucky (Gold Well) are pictured this week at Skehanagh Stables in Tipperary. The pair have a remarkable record racing from Sam Curling’s yard, having amassed 27 point-to-point victories between them in the last three years.

The history-maker Longhouse Music is owned and was bred by John Duggan and the now 11-year-old mare won for the first time at the age of eight. Having won a maiden, a winners of one, two and then three, she graduated to open company and has been successful 16 times in that category. A half-sister to two winners, she is closely related to the listed hurdle winner Damut (Gamut), both being out of half-sisters.
