There was plenty of fun had and action enjoyed in the hunting fields by horses and riders of all ages with the Laois Foxhounds and North Kerry Harriers

The Goldburn Beagles meet at Garristown saw a large turnout of adults and young followers, many from local GAA Clubs and from members of the adjacent mounted packs. They were greeted by joint-master Aileen Byrne, huntsman Michael Lynch whose father Andy was travelling head man for the Noel Meade stable, whipper-in and deputy huntsman Dr Colin Byrne, whipper-in Jack Mahon and field-master Shane Mahon. CAPTURING the action in the hunting field this week were Catherine Power, who covered the top hunting action with the Laois Foxhounds, and Siobhan English, who was out with the North Kerry Harriers, while Noel Mullins enjoyed a visit with the Goldburn Beagles.
