Wayne Lordan, representing Irish Injured Jockeys, received €700 from Anne Murphy of Naas General Hospital at Naas Racecourse last Monday. The money was raised through a raceday raffle organised by the 200 hospital staff who were guests of the racecourse \ INPHO/Tom Maher
Financial planner Niall Rooney and family sponsored the leading jockey prizes at the Galway Festival. Patrick Mullins (four winners) was the leading National Hunt rider of the week and received €2,000 and a Galway Crystal trophy.
