    Guiliani is a half-brother to the pattern-placed stakes winning filly Guantana (by Dynaformer) and his Group 1 Oaks d'Italia winning dam Guadalupe (by Monsun) is a full-sister to the dual Group 1 winner and Grange Stud stallion Getaway. Guantana is the dam of this year's German Group 2 scorer Guardini (by Dalakhani).

  • Gutaifan took his record to three wins from four starts when narrowly winning the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin over five and a half furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte. The Richard Hannon-trained juvenile was bred by Eimear Mulhern and Abbeville Stud, and he is a son of the Morristown Lattin Stud stallion Dark Angel (by Acclamation). A half-brother to a string of winners, he is out of Alikhlas (by Lahib) who is a winning half-sister to the Group 2-placed middle-distance stakes winner Sahool (by Unfuwain) and also to Nasanice (by Nashwan), the winning dam of the multiple Group 1-placed dual Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes scorer Maraahel (by Alzao).

  • Postponed fought back to get his head back in front on the line in the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (sponsored by Qipco) (British Champions Series) over 12 furlongs at Ascot, a first win at the highest level for the previously Group 1-placed Group 2 scorer. The Luca Cumani-trained four-year-old was bred by St Albans Bloodstock LLP and he is a son of Dalham Hall Stud's outstanding stallion Dubawi (by Dubai Millennium). He is the second foal out of Ever Rigg (by Dubai Destination), a winning daughter of the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes heroine Bianca Nera (by Salse).

  • Tullius won the Group 2 Sky Bet York Stakes over 10 and a half furlongs at York, a second win at that level for the talented miler. It is his sixth blacktype success among a career total of 10 wins from 29 starts. The Andrew Balding-trained seven-year-old was bred by Scuderia Archi Romani and he is a son of the former Rathbarry Stud stallion Le Vie Dei Colori (by Efisio) who died in 2008. He is a half-brother to several multiple winners and his dam Whipped Queen (by Kingmambo) is a winning half-sister to the blacktype scorers Pie In Your Eye (by Spend A Buck) and Monsagem (by Nureyev).

  • Besharah, who was beaten a nose when runner-up in the Group 2 Duchess of Cambridge Stakes last time, gained compensation with an easy win in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Juddmonte Stakes over six furlongs on soft ground at Ascot. The William Haggas-trained juvenile was bred by Gerard Kerin, she made 85,000gns in Newmarket as a yearling, and she is a daughter of the Tally-Ho Stud stallion Kodiac (by Danehill). She is the first foal out of Dixieland Kiss (by Dixie Union), an unraced half-sister to last month's US Grade 3 scorer Kiss Moon (by Malibu Moon). Her grandam Kiss The Devil (by Kris S) is also a 8.5 furlong US Grade 3 scorer.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained son of multiple champion sire Galileo (by Sadler's Wells) was bred by his part-owner Mrs Fitri Hay, he is a full-brother to the listed scorer The Corsican, and his dam pattern-placed dam Walklikeanegyptian (by Danehill) is a half-sister to the Group/Grade 2 scorers Contredanse (by Danehill Dancer) and Callwood Dancer (by Danehill Dancer). His grandam Ahdaab (by Rahy) is a half-sister to the Group 1 winning miler Maroof (by Danzig).

  • Tanaza won the Group 3 Jockey Club of Turkey Silver Flash Stakes over seven furlongs at Leopardstown, a second win in two starts for H.H. the Aga Khan's homebred juvenile.
