  • Blue De Vega won the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes over seven furlongs at Leopardstown, a second impressive win from three starts for the Michael O'Callaghan-trained juvenile. Bred by Gestut Ammerland, the German-born colt is a second crop son of Ballylinch Stud stallion Lope De Vega (by Shamardal), O'Callaghan secured him for €75,000 at the Goresbridge Flat Breeze-Up Sale in May, and his dam Burning Heights (by Montjeu) is a out of a full-sister to the Group 1 star Borgia (by Acatenango).
