  • Onenightidreamed won the Group 3 Big Bad Bob Gladness Stakes over seven furlongs on heavy ground at the Curragh, a second pattern success for the gelded son of Coolmore Stud stallion Footstepsinthesand (by Giant's Causeway). Bred by Brian O'Neill and trained by Tommy Stack, the five-year-old is out of Pivotalia (by Pivotal) and his grandam's string of blacktype siblings include pattern winners Ivan Luis (by Lycius) and Stagelight (by Montjeu) and classic-placed stakes winner Hathrah (by Linamix).   • Cloth Of Stars won the Group 3 Prix La Force – Figaroscope over 10 furlongs on heavy ground at Saint-Cloud, a second pattern success for the Group 1-placed son of Gilltown Stud stallion Sea The Stars (by Cape Cross). Bred by Peter Anastasiou and trained by Andre Fabre, the three-year-old is out of Strawberry Fledge (by Kingmambo), an unraced full-sister to Group 1 Oaks heroine Light Shift and half-sister to Group 1 scorer Shiva (by Hector Protector).

  • Maimara won the Group 3 Prix Edmond Blanc over a mile at Saint-Cloud, a second pattern success over the trip for the triple blacktype scorer. A first-crop daughter of Haras de Bonneval's classic winning miler Makfi (by Dubawi), the Mikel Delzangles-trained four-year-old was bred by the partnership of Le Thenney S.A. And Edy S.R.L., she is out of the stakes-placed Hideaway Heroine (by Hernando) and is a half-sister to Group 3 scorer Ombrage (by Orpen) and to listed winner Cisneros (by Johannesburg).

  • Zhukova won Listed coral.ie Alleged Stakes over 10 furlongs at the Curragh, a second blacktype success for the daughter of Coolmore Stud shuttle sire Fastnet Rock (by Danehill). Trained by Dermot Weld and bred by his late mother Marguerite, the four-year-old is out of Group 1 Irish 1000 Guineas heroine Nightime (by Galileo), a daughter of the mile stakes winner Caumshinaun (by Indian Ridge).

  • Marypop won the Listed Prix Zarkava – Fonds Europeen de l'Elevage over 10 and a half furlongs at Saint-Cloud. The Pia Brandt-trained four-year-old is a son of former Haras du Logis stallion Layman (by Sunday Silence), her dam Sampaguita (by Muhtathir) is out of a half-sister to the pattern-winning stayer Balthazar (by Alzao), and she was bred in France by Alain Haddad. Layman moved to Sweden in 2012.

  • Beauty Only won the Listed Chairman's Trophy (local Group 2 only) over a mile at Sha Tin, a third blacktype success for the Tony Cruz-trained son of Coolmore stallion Holy Roman Emperor (by Danehill). The five-year-old was bred by Massimo Parri, he is out of Goldendale (by Ali-Royal), and that mare is a half-sister to the multiple pattern-winning sprinter Late Parade (by Astronef) and also to the mile US Grade 2 scorer Sweet Ludy (by Be My Guest). He won the 2013 edition of the Group 3 Premio Guido Berardelli, over nine furlongs at Capannelle, under the name Gentleman Only.

  • Photo Call won the Grade 3 Orchid Stakes over 11 furlongs on turf at Gulfsteam Park, a third big race success for the Grade 1-winning daughter of Coolmore Stud's multiple champion sire Galileo (by Sadler's Wells). Bred by Evie Stockwell and trained by Todd Pletcher, the five-year-old is out of Theann (by Rock Of Gibraltar), a pattern-winning half-sister to Group 1 and classic star Halfway To Heaven (by Pivotal). Her grandam is the Group 2-winning sprinter Cassandra Go (by Indian Ridge), a half-sister to the classic-placed pattern scorer and sire Verglas (by Highest Honor).

  • Mobsta won the Listed Betway Cammidge Trophy over six furlongs at Doncaster, a third win from eight starts for the Mick Channon-trained four-year-old and his first blacktype success. Bred by Peter Gleeson, the son of former Tally-Ho Stud stallion Bushranger (by Danetime) is a half-brother to the four-times scorer Cincuenta Pasos (by Footstepsinthesand) and he is out of Sweet Nicole (by Okawango), a half-sister to the Group 2 Lennox Stakes winner Tariq (by Kyllachy).

  • Belardo, champion two-year-old of 2014, won the Listed Betway Doncaster Mile Stakes, a third blacktype success for Roger Varian-trained colt. He was bred by Ballylinch Stud, which is where his sire Lope De Vega (by Shamardal) stands, he is a half-brother to the dual Group 3 scorer Berling (by Montjeu), and his dam Danaskaya (by Danehill) is a pattern-placed half-sister to the multiple pattern-placed triple stakes winner Modeeroch (by Mozart).   • Kyllachy Queen got up on the line to take the Listed Betfred Mobile Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes over a mile on the polytrack at Kempton, a third blacktype success for the Marco Botti-trained daughter of Cheveley Park Stud stallion Kyllachy (by Pivotal). Owned and bred by Scuderia Blueberry SRL, the four-year-old is the second foal out of 10 furlong listed scorer Queen Sensazione (by King Charlemagne), a daughter of pattern-placed dual stakes winner Sensazione (by Cadeaux Genereux).

  • There was a string of major races in the southern hemisphere this weekend and they included success for First Impressions in the Group 3 Kirin Meguni – W.A. Oaks over 12 furlongs. The Grant Williams-trained filly was born in New Zealand and she is a daughter of Coolmore Stud stallion Rip Van Winkle (by Galileo). Bred by D G & R B McLaren Ltd, the three-year-old is out of Striker (by Van Nistelrooy) and that Group 1-placed mare is a half-sister to mile Group 1 heroine Calveen (by Canny Lad), to the Group 1-placed, Group 2-winning miler Kosi Bay (by Spinning World) and to last season's pattern-winning juvenile sprinter Fireworks (by Snitzel).
