War Dispatch, a listed scorer and prolific winner on the all-weather tracks, won the Group 3 Prix de Guiche over nine furlongs on very soft ground at Chantilly. Joseph Allen's homebred three-year-old is trained by Jean-Claude Rouget and he is a son of the Claiborne Farm stallion War Front (by Danzig). The grey is the first foal out of Photograph (by Unbridled's Song), an unraced half-sister to the Group 2 scorers Lines Of Battle (by War Front) and Homebound (by Dixie Union). It is the family of Dynaformer (by Roberto).

Not So Sleepy, a gelded son of the Ballylinch Stud stallion Beat Hollow (by Sadler's Wells), won the Listed Betfair Dee Stakes over an extended 10 furlongs on soft ground at Chester, his second win from three starts. Lady Blyth's homebred chesnut is trained by Hughie Morrison. He is the first winner for Papillon De Bronze (by Marju), an unraced mare from the immediate family of the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes winner and Group 1 St Leger runner-up Air Marshall (by In The Wings).

Night Of Light won the Listed Prix Volterra over a mile at Chantilly, a first blacktype success for the pattern-placed daughter of Gilltown Stud stallion Sea The Stars (by Cape Cross). The Niarchos Family's homebred three-year-old is trained by Pascal Bary. She is out of Celestial Lagoon (by Sunday Silence), which makes her a half-sister to the stakes winner Maria Gabriella (by Rock Of Gibraltar) and to the stakes placed prolific scorer Roatan (by Daylami).

Hans Holbein won the Group 3 MBNA Chester Vase over the extended 12 furlongs at Chester, a second win from four starts for the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt. He was bred by The Lavington Stud, he is a son of the late Montjeu (by Sadler's Wells) and he is the third blacktype winner for his dam Llia (by Shirley Heights). His siblings include the Group 1 Irish St Leger hero Sans Frontieres (by Galileo) and the triple listed scorer Kootenay (by Selkirk).

Maverick Wave won the Group 3 Betfair Huxley Stakes (for the Tradesman's Cup) over the extended 10 furlongs at Chester. It is a sixth win from 13 starts for the John Gosden-trained four-year-old. The colt was bred by the partnership of Jim Plemmons and Darley, he is a son of the Jonabell Farm champion sire Elusive Quality (by Gone West), and the $100,000 Fasig-Tipton graduate is the first foal out of the US nine furlong Grade 2 scorer Misty Ocean (by Stormy Atlantic).

Erupt won the Listed Coupe des Trois Ans over 12 furlongs at Lyon Parilly, a first blacktype success for the Niarchos Family's homebred son of Dubawi (by Dubai Millennium). He is trained by Francis-Henri Graffard, he is a half-brother to the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes winner Marie De Medici (by Medicean) and he is out of the Group 1 placed pattern scorer Mare Nostrum (by Caerleon).

His dam is a half-sister to the US Grade 1 winner Aube Indienne (by Bluebird), and they come from a branch of the family whose more recent Group 1 stars include Charm Spirit (by Invincible Spirit), Hasna (by Snippets) and Majestic Roi (by Street Cry) as well as the notable stallions Encosta De Lago (by Fairy King), Flying Spur (by Danehill) and Holy Roman Emperor (by Danehill).

Meleagros made it two from two this season with victory in the Group 3 Prix d'Hedouville over 12 furlongs at Longchamp. The Alain Couetil-trained six-year-old was bred by Oak Hill Stud, this was the fourth blacktype success of the horse's career and his first one at pattern level.

He is a son of the Darley Japan stallion King's Best (by Kingmambo), his string of winning siblings include the mile listed scorer St Andrews (by Celtic Swing), and his dam Viola Royale (by Royal Academy) is a stakes-placed direct descendant of the high-class performers and hugely influential mares Cosmah (by Cosmic Bomb) and Almahmoud (by Mahmoud).

Diamondsandrubies was a wide-margin winner of the Listed Arkle Finance Cheshire Oaks (for the Robert Sangster Memorial Cup) over the extended 11 furlongs at Chester, a first blacktype success for the Aidan O'Brien-trained filly.

The three-year-old was bred by Premier Bloodstock, she is a daughter of the Australian champion sire Fastnet Rock (by Danehill), she has two stakes-placed siblings, and she is out of the classic-placed Group 1 scorer Quarter Moon (by Sadler's Wells).

Her dam is a full-sister to the classic heroine Yesterday and to the classic-placed All My Loving, among other blacktype earners, and it is the famous family of Group 1 stars such as Alborada (by Alzao), Albanova (by Alzao), Aussie Rules (by Danehill) and Allegretto (by Galileo).

La Berma was a narrow runner-up in Group 3 and listed company as a juvenile but she came home a six-length winner of the Listed Prix du Pont-Neuf over seven furlongs on very soft ground at Longchamp today.

She was bred by C & L Marzocco and L Disaro, she is trained by Fabrice Chappet, and she is a daughter of the Ballylinch Stud stallion Lawman (by Invincible Spirit). A €52,000 Arqana yearling, she is the second foal out of Full Snow Moon (by Vindication) who is a stakes-placed daughter of the Argentine Grade 1 scorer Netherland (by Roy).

Sumbal advertised his Group 1 potential with a wide-margin victory against just two rivals in the Group 2 Prix Greffulhe in very soft ground at Saint-Cloud. The Francis-Henri Graffard-trained son of Danehill Dancer (by Danehill) is now unbeaten in three starts, all of them in 2015.

The grey was bred by Aleyrion Bloodstock Ltd, he is out of Alix Road (by Linamix) and so is a half-brother to Lavender Lane (by Shamardal) who finished third in the Group 2 Prix de Mallaret and in the Group 2 Prix de la Nonette last summer. His dam was placed in the Group 1 Prix Saint-Alary, in the Group 2 Prix du Conseil de Paris and in the Group 2 Prix de Royallieu.

Iveagh Gardens won the Group 3 Canford Cliffs European Breeders Fund Athasi Stakes over seven furlongs on heavy ground at the Curragh. It is a second win from five starts for the first-crop daughter of Coolmore Stud's classic sire Mastercraftsman (by Danehill Dancer).

The four-year-old was bred by Anthony Gannon, she was a €50,000 foal in Goffs, and she is the second produce of Woodland Chant (by War Chant). Her dam is an unraced half-sister to the Group 3 Coventry Stakes winner Cd Europe (by Royal Academy) and her grandam Woodland Orchid (by Woodman) is a half-sister to the pattern scorers D'Anjou (by Marju) and Truth Or Dare (by Royal Academy).

Fascinating Rock landed the Group 3 So You Think European Breeders Fund Mooresbridge Stakes over 10 furlongs at the Curragh, his third victory at that level and an overall fifth win from eight starts for the Dermot Weld-trained four-year-old.

Newtown Anner Stud's homebred is a son of the Australian champion sire Fastnet Rock (by Danehill). He is one of three winners out of Miss Polaris (by Polar Falcon), and his grandam is a half-sister to the high-class miler Gothenberg (by Polish Patriot).

Tombelaine won the Listed Power European Breeders Fund Tetrarch Stakes over seven furlongs on heavy ground at the Curragh, a second win from five starts for the dual pattern-placed three-year-old.

The Juddmonte Farms homebred is trained by Dermot Weld, he holds an entry in the Group 1 Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas, and he is a son of First Defence (by Unbridled's Song), the Juddmonte Farm stallion whose early progeny include the multiple US Grade 1 star Close Hatches.

Tombelaine is a half-brother to the stakes-placed Kalamos (by Empire Maker), he is out of the mile stakes winner Kithira (by Danehill), and that mare's siblings include the Group 3 Prix de Psyche scorer Tenuous (by Generous). Sea Front gave classic star and Haras de la Cauviniere stallion Le Havre (by Noverre) his ninth stakes winner when taking the Listed Prix Maurice Zilber over a mile on very soft ground at Chantilly. The Eric Libaud-trained four-year-old represents his first crop.

She is owned and bred by Angela Kurth, she is a half-sister to several winners, and her dam Freedom Herself (by Freedom Cry) is an unraced half-sister to Mediation (by Caerleon).
