Meathman Paul McAuley has been living and working in Dubai for the past nine years. Back in 2005, McAuley was managing Sheikh Maktoum Al Maktoum’s Woodpark Stud in Co Meath when he was offered the position to move to Dubai to manage and develop the Emirates Equestrian Centre.

It was an enormous and difficult decision to make. There was his wife Aine and their two small children, Amy and Ellen, to consider, along with a completely different culture and way of life halfway across the world. However, having made the decision, they haven‘t looked back.
