FORMER Irish rugby great Ollie Campbell was the Curragh last Sunday to promote an upcoming charity lunch.

Johnny Murtagh and former Irish rugby international Bernard Jackman are also supporting this event at the Curragh Racecourse on Saturday, October 8th.

Organised by the IRFU Charitable Trust, the lunch will raise funds to support 35 seriously injured amateur rugby players and their families.

Guests will be treated to a VIP lunch in the Oaks Suite (reserved for the day) and some tips from Johnny. There will be a charity auction conducted by Henry Beeby and a raffle. There’s even an opportunity to sponsor one of three races on the day.

Tickets for the lunch are €175 each and tables for 10 are available. Tel: 01-6473866
