DAVID Noalia, lives and works in Seville, the capital of Andalucia, the city of his dreams and source of his inspiration. He describes his choice of subject, the thoroughbred horse, as “essential as it allows me to reach any person or culture. It is a universal theme, and I am passionate about movement, elegance and power.”
He sold his first paintings to a dealer aged 17, who commissioned eight more pieces. That was the defining moment as he discovered he could make a living from art. Timely for Royal Ascot June 18-22nd, you can view his work at the the Osborne Studio Gallery, 2 Motcomb Street, London SW1X 8JU.
