THE marketing campaign for Longines Irish Champions Weekend is well and truly underway. This year’s billboard campaign features a set of loaded starting stalls with suited doormen opening the gates for the horses.

Remarkably one of the doormen bears an uncanny resemblance to Jim Bolger. Horse Racing Ireland has assured us that JSB did not model for the photo-shoot so we can only deduce that Jim has a stunt double who he sends to the races when there is a big hurling game on.
