IRISH Derby day last Saturday saw the unveiling of a plaque commemorating the late Senior Steward of the Irish Horse Regulatory Board, Neville O’Byrne. The plaque is to commemorate Neville’s role in the redevelopment of the Curragh Racecourse. Neville died in September 2018 before the redevelopment was completed.

His wife Maud was present with his daughter Rachel and John Larkin, chairman of William Fry, solicitors where Neville was a managing partner.
