GROUP 1-winning trainer and winner of the HRI Flat Achievement Award 2021, Ado McGuinness is supporting another kind of horsepower in the new year. He is marking the one year anniversary of his brother Laurence, who passed away last January, by promoting a decorated tractor parade on January 2nd. All are welcome to attend and support the event and that should wake everyone up after the Christmas holiday!

“Keep Her Lit For Lar” is a vehicle parade of lights organised in memory of Laurence McGuinness and will roar off on Sunday, January 2nd 2022 at 5pm with registration from 3pm. The parade starts from the Man O War GAA Club Yellow Hill, Oberstown, Lusk, Co Dublin and will visit local towns Lusk, Rush, Loughshinny, Skerries, Balbriggan and Balrothery.

Fancy dress

You have plenty of time to get your vehicle decorated for the run, don’t hold back. Fancy dress is optional but go on and give it a lash!

The charities being supported are Aoife’s Clown Doctors, LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, Skerries Youth Support Services, the Friends of St Luke’s Cancer Care. All funds raised will go directly to these great causes.

Go to the fundraising page on iDonate.ie where you will find further information on the great work of the charities.
