The Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide will be launched for a 19th consecutive Festival on February 21st, with Matt Tombs returning as the primary author for a third time.
For the first time in its history, the guide will be available digitally as an ebook, and, in another first, the latest edition is being produced in association with Sporting Life.
As a result, Matt is being joined by four guest contributors – the returning Lydia Hislop, Tony Keenan and Kevin Blake - plus new addition Ben Linfoot, well-known for his Value Bet column on Sporting Life.
With an abundance of talent available from the Sporting Life team, the views and insights from their stable of talent will add some extra star quality throughout the publication, as will the inclusion of ITV’s chief race commentator Richard Hoiles, who will be penning the foreword.
The core of the guide remains, providing in-depth analysis of all 28 races, with the additional focus on the most-profitable trends to follow, along with a host of positive and negative statistics for you to consider.
The guest authors will be providing four very different angles, and with expert advice and opinion from both sides of the Irish Sea, it makes for the most comprehensive Cheltenham Festival publication on the market.
The new additions will also accompany popular features such as the positive and negative trends boxes; Rolls of Honour; the Predictability Factor; and the Freshnessometer.
First published in 2000, the Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide is the original of its kind.
Those looking to purchase the digital e-book will enjoy all the same content as the printed version but with additional features and editorials. And with both editions published on the same day (February 21st), those opting for the digital version will be the first to cast their eyes over the 2018 guide, cutting out the postage and delivery process.
