Owned and ridden by Michael McNally, the six-year-old by Camiro de Haar Z has run in just four events, gaining a top three place in all but one.

Bred by Clive Pratt, he is son of the useful dual purpose sire and international show jumper Camiro de Haar Z out of the Irish Sport Horse mare Drumconnick Grey Rebel (Glenagyle Rebel). Sourced from Cavan sales as a three-year-old, Frankie spent the next two years in the hunting field, at that time owned by McNally’s uncle Sean. “Sean always rated him,” explained Co Meath-based McNally. “He is a very good mover, and when I tried him over some coloured poles, he seemed to do that ok as well. He has the most amazing brain, he comes out the same every day, and is easy in all three phases.
