O’Shea followed up his win in last weekend’s Grand Prix of Devon with Primo de Revel by taking the feature event, the $75,000 Jumper Classic at Upperville with Skara Glen’s Sienna. He also took the runner-up slot with River Dance Semilly with America’s Candice King and Pjotter van de Zonnehoeve in third from an initial starting field of 28 to face Marina Azevedo’s track.

Only two days beforehand, O’Shea and River Dance Semilly won the Welcome Stakes and the duo were quick to set a fast pace to lead the first round in the Grand Prix. However the pair had a pole on the floor in the jump-off as did King, allowing O’Shea, ahead of her by less than a second, take his time warming Sienna up to clinch the win.
