TWO Mad Hatters Races were staged after point-to-points last Sunday, both proving extremely popular with local racegoers.

Thomond O’Mara, one of the many who had taken part in the hunt’s recent mud run, made history by becoming the first male to land the Tipperary Foxhounds’ race at Lisronagh. The Bansha racehorse trainer won by half a length from Ray O’Connor with Carlyn Hyde taking the prize for the first lady home when finishing third.
